A common objective

HOLIDAYS FOR EVERYONE !

Members of the Group'AVélo accommodation network all belong to UNAT Pays de la Loire and Centre-Val de Loire (Union Nationale des Associations de Tourisme).

In the interests of serving the community, UNAT brings together, represents and supports social and solidarity tourist bodies which are committed to upholding the right of everyone to have a holiday. It promotes the Group'AVélo project and acts as co-ordinator for the accommodation service involved in the network.

But what exactly is UNAT ?

WHAT UNAT BELIEVES IN

Founded on non-profit-making principles, tourist associations use non-profit accounting practices in which any money left over is reinvested for use in the development project to offer quality holidays for everyone.

Holidays for all : tourist associations focus on enabling as many people as possible to have holidays in a spirit of social diversity and community.

Holidays which are meaningful, conducive to revitalisation and fulfilment, which favour getting together and friendliness.

Holidays with a difference which contribute towards local and regional development.

Holidays for all : for families, friends, groups, teenagers, children, senior citizens… tourist associations are for everyone.

HOLIDAYS FOR ALL

4.5 million people go on holiday every year using the UNAT network : children, teenagers, senior citizens, families, disabled people, schoolchildren…  The holidays are organised thanks to innovative measures together with national bodies (CAF, ANCV), regional and départemental authorities and local organisations (community centres, community aid projects for young people, etc.).

A STRONG ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL INFLUENCE

Social and solidarity tourism in the Pays de la Loire region represents :

• 13 300 beds

• 1 400 000 room nights

• turnover of 42 million euros

• 6 million euros spent by the holiday makers in the region

• the equivalent of 620 full-time employees
